Top 20 Christian Worship Songs

Here is a list of my current top 20 praise & worship songs in 2023

Hello y’all! Lately I’ve felt the need to make this the next blog post out of the hundreds on the back burner. Maybe because I’m going through some difficult times & I know I’m not the only one here in the valley. I messaged a friend about a YouTube video that I watched that just hit me hard & deep. Sometimes somethings hit differently at different points in your life.

One of the scriptures was Psalms 23. Not a new one to me or her, but it made me cry. It gave me hope and reassured me God was there and there’s a purpose for this season even though it might be a difficult dark scary season. This is what I sent her:

Psalm 23: hitting hard today … the lord is my shepherd and I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures and he leads me to the still waters and though I walk though the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. For God is with me.

It’s the walking though and leading me though the valley of the shadow of death- it’s hitttting hard right now.

The one life changing song

The first song one this list: I Surrender by Hillsong Worship… THIS is the song changed my life around 2018. I remember sitting at my classroom desk at the end of a hard day/ week/ month/ school year. I was at a crossroad- completely unhappy, drained, dressed, tired, broken and not myself. Contemplating leaving a career ans passion I worked so hard to get to and loved, but left me feeling empty & unfulfilled. I opened YouTube and searched motivational Christian music and this is the first one I clicked on. Literally LIFE CHANGING for me in that moment! Plus watching it live just added to it even more.

I literally love all of them & there are way too many to list all of them or even my top 100 (they all hit deep & hard and move me), but these are the ones that hit differently for me. This was sooooo hard! I absolutely love music (I have thousands and thousands of songs) and from all different genres.

Why Christian worship songs

I’M SO MOVED I WANT TO JUMP UP AND Down typing this to share with y’all! (the caps lock was hit on accident, but I’m gonna leave it because it seems fitting & for a purpose). I’m currently listening to all of these songs at 1:00am typing this has me pumped me up instead of getting ready for bed. I’m also emotional listening to some of these and have tears.

All of these songs hit differently and have different memories, meanings or reasons I go to them and play them. Some are for praise and worship, others in times of need or sorrow, some in times of worrywhen all I have are tears and faith a small as a mustard seed. Others are for when I want to feel close to God and feel his presence (which I do in all of these songs). I listen to them all to feel closer to God, especially when I can’t hear him or if I feel he isn’t as close when I need him the most.

I think I’ve gotten a chill during every song that’s on this list when it played while typing this. My top 5 are all my number one lol! Because one of anything is impossible!! I’ve made a top 20 list so that’s it’s not overwhelming & lengthy.

Some of these are so nostalgic for me! Quite a few I’ve seen live in concert. I’ve went to a couple with my sister as seen in the photos here and I’ve went with a small group from my church. The atmosphere is INSANEEEEE! I highly recommend! Next I want to see maverick City Music live & Elevation Worship.

October makeup looks

To my surprise posting “backwards” is actually working out for the moment lol! Eventually it’ll be obvious but it’s ok! Here are my makeup looks from October! Happy Friday!! here was the red lip makeup look I did a few days ago. 😘💋 lipstick is Bite Beauty, eyeshadow is Kylie Cosmetics, foundation is Rodan and Fields & Huda Beauty and my shirt is from TJMaxx.

Simple fall makeup look

Here is my simple fall makeup look. The lips weren’t orange enough & I didn’t find my orange lipstick until I was in my car! I fixed them later lol. Photos show 3 different lighting areas… not my best photos but oh well lol I was in a hurry and forgot to take pics, so I went back upstairs and took a few.

Fall Photo Shoot

Hello! I’d love too say happy fall but it’s December and starting to feeling like winter. Here are a few pictures from the photoshoot my sister and I did in early November. Photos were taken at Oak Openings in Swanton, Ohio. I highly recommend coming here! It’s breath taking and clearly an awesome place to take photos. October Update

Where have I been?! I sadly warned y’all over a year ago!! Did I think it’s be thing long before I posted again?? No!! And now it’s like I’m soo behind how do you create these posts let alone any new posts?? So here I go we’re going to go backwards before I can go forwards I guess! So I’ll start with today since it’s semi fitting. It’s a throw back post from last year! I’m going to attempt to correlate posts on top of adding old posts to my blog.

I’ve been dealing with a lot. I’ve basically been going through a spiritual rebirthing on top of just focusing on myself. My mental health, physical health, spiritual health… All of the above. And this has caused some relapses with mental health and then I get better. But that’s life! I’m not where I’d like to be (do we ever get there lol) but I know overall it’s forward progression and life is a marathon not a sprint. Even when I take 10 steps back 1 additional step forward is progress.

In all of this behind the scenes work a lot has taken the back burner on my life. In order to cover this topic in full detail it really deserves it’s own blog post and YouTube video. I’m working on it. But when you’re dealing with depression and anxiety small tasks seem overwhelming at times. So I’m taking this one day at a time and one task at a time even when the small things seem so big and overwhelming. So here I am forcing myself to post something in 2019! Gahhh. Never my intent, but that’s how it’s been.

That witch last year

Throw back to my simple witch makeup! I used sugarpill, inglot cosmetics & concrete minerals eyeshadows/ pigments. I don’t think I’ll be creating a Halloween look this year 💔 there’s a lot going on and I’m not feeling like it. I know I need to channel my discipline and push though and force myself… but October has slipped though my fingers and Halloween has snuck up so fast!! I haven’t done a lot this month actually. I’ve been sick for basically all of October on top of everything else. I haven’t put all my Halloween decor out let alone all of my fall decor. I haven’t watched any Halloween movies including hocus-pocus which is not like me!! I haven’t listen to any Halloween music. Basically just not feeling like myself.

Introduction & Welcome!!

Hello lovely!

Just getting on here to say hi beautiful & introduce myself!! It’s crazy that I am sitting here typing my first blog post on a verified & active (still needing lots of tender, love & care) blog that is mine! Please bare with me as I am new to the blogging world, but I’m trying my hardest to learn and adapt as fast as aI can… there is A LOT of behind the scene work (coding, verifying, encrypting, linking, researching, etc….) that has to be completed before I can “begin blogging”. I could “begin” now, but the perfectionist in me says NO! You need a solid foundation to build on. This is very true so be mindful of that & please stick around it’ll be AWESOME & worth the wait!

Some things you need to know about me… I work a lot and currently have multiple jobs. I’ll do my best to be an active poster once I’m in the swing of things.. until then I cannot guarantee anything. I’ve already lacked on my YouTube channel for a couple months and that kills me!! Change & commitment is coming. Another bit about me… I CANNOT SPELL. I don’t like these words and negative affirmations, but it’s a fact at the moment and it’s not an area of my life I’m working on improving (plus who has time to full on proof reads for grammar & spelling for every post?!?! sorry not me). I currently live in Ohio (Go Buckeyes!) and have a chihuahua named Lacy & she is my heart! I’ve added a photo of us shopping at TJ Maxx together. Also, you pronounce my last name Behm like Beam as in Jim Beam 😉

Some things you can expect (I’m hopeful but not promising because who knows what the future will bring) I’d love to create an email subscription in the near future for the blog. I’m open to suggestions as to what you’d like to see in the emails. I’m thinking in the beginning emailing content that has positive quotes, inspiration & updates. Maybe down the line there could be products, seminars, webinars I offer. Who knows!

The plan right now is to have the blog post and Youtube videos coincide or be relevant to one another. The blog posts will be published after the videos. If you haven’t please subscribe to my YouTube channel (because it’s not set up to do so on here yet hahaha!). I know the posting just came to a halt on there, but I’m working on so many things and areas in my life right now something had to give and I was on a need be basis 🙁
